It's #PortfolioDay! Hello, I'm Vae and I'm a composer with an affinity for orchestral and rock/ metal music! Despite that, I worked on some projects outside that scope and had the honour of working on some VST demos as well!

【Commission Work】 Feeling super grateful for the overwhelming support for Blacky and the interest in the skeblike BGM comms I opened to support his recovery! I had a loads of fun working on them, especially given the variety of genres I got to work with! Please enjoy some excerpts!

【Cover Instrumental】 Grateful for the opportunity to provide an instrumental of Moona's "Distortion" for lil_megu_vert! Please go give it a listen! youtu.be/x2ekJsRl9jU

As I'm still rounding off Blacky's support CM slots, I discovered I'm really enjoying the service at the moment! I decided to open 3 more skeblike slots for October, as well as well as 2 slots for Simple/ Calm looping BGM! Please do check out my VGen if you're interested! vgen.co/VaeSong

I haven't really been active lately, but I returned from VeXpo 26 last night and definitely had a blast! I will be taking stuff easy, but still continue working on finishing up the skeblike BGM!

It's incredible seeing all slots have been taken! Thank you to everyone for supporting Blacky, I'll try my hardest to deliver!

An early first #PortfolioDay of the year! Hi, I'm Vae and I compose original music, BGM and instrumental covers! I generally write orchestral and (prog) rock music, and had the honour of sharing a couple of VST demos last year!

I'm.... Fond of this part. Also orchestral runs are life ✨

With that in mind, I'd like to announce I (re-)opened Vocal Mixing and Cover Instrumental comms on my VGen! If you're interested, please do not hesitate to contact me! vgen.co/VaeSong

Since we both were eager to share, I worked together with @yumietsuchinoko.bsky.social on another BGM! We're making it festive this time! ✨✨ There's a notable amount of Liyue influence in this one, but I can't help but consider it my favourite part of the OST! youtu.be/dyZTciSRb80

With the end of the year closing in I've had my moment of introspection and how to proceed as a musician and composer. Truth to be told, I'm unsure to what extent I'll be able to keep doing what I'm doing. I want to continue, I want to keep improving. >>

It's been a super hectic week and I really needed some offline time. I'll resume comms tomorrow!
