MiCDA-UMISR@micda-umisr.bsky.social · 3mo ago“Among those ages 65–74...we found swelling numbers and increasing shares living with activity limitations, receiving paid care, and experiencing unmet care needs...for older age groups, we found declines in receipt of care overall and in residential settings, without increases in unmet care needs.”
Thanks to this enjoyable collaboration, we know more about the forces that will drive increases in late-life care gaps by 2040. Contrary to the prevailing narrative, shifts in families are not driving these impending increases. Instead, population growth and aging are responsible. #NHATS #MiCDA
