AI can’t really solve what we don’t understand ourselves; and trying to use it that way leaves us understanding less.

The article is worth it. I'm entirely uncertain how so much can be mapped, without things being badly wrong in several ways; even after the obvious ethical, political, and existential ways - there's a pile of dysfunction here.
