i'm learning new things just for the pure joy of it again, and wow did i miss this! as it turns out, between engineering management and parenthood, i had neither the time nor the energy to do this for fun. but now i do and i'm loving going down rabbit holes to learn about things i never knew existed

being a toddler parent means constantly thinking you have cleaned up everything and everyone after a meal or snack only to discover food hidden in the weirdest places an hour later. oatmeal between their toes? sure, of course. dried mango on the bathroom floor? well, why not. 🙈

us, the new parents: here is a baby gym for you with all of these toys! baby: wow that tree outside is fascinating us: hey look, you can grab this toy, and this one makes noise, and this one is colorful! baby: wow my hand is so entertaining

ok i never thought i’d hop on the air fryer train (we have limited kitchen counter space), but WOW this thing is a game changer—especially since having a baby. little one is napping and i just quickly air fried some oyster mushrooms in preparation for tonight’s dinner in less than 8 minutes!!
