"The deal clarifies that the tax audit immunity agreement 'applies by its terms only retroactively' to claims open at the time of the settlement and does not protect the president from examination of future tax filings." Like a thief stealing $1,000 and agreeing to give back $500 to escape charges.

Times like this I miss Twitter before Musk privatized it. People had differences of opinion, and in certain partially literate sectors could be annoying. But differences of opinion were discussed. On BS most refuse to discuss or argue anything outside standard mainstream Democratic Party thought.

DJR gives a no bid contract to a personal friend, and when the taxpayers suffer from cost overruns and shoddy work, Trump blames and slanders an innocent tourist. Democrats barely open their mouths in protestation. Fuck any opposition party that refuses to speak honestly and w/ integrity.

No apology or compensation for the man arrested and publicly slandered by Trump for damaging the reflecting pool? Seems to me he's in line for a big payday if he can find a lawyer courageous enough to go against the billionaire bully who has his finger on the button.

How far are we from Democracy in the US? A Catholic billionaire bought SCOTUS narrowed the definition of bribery so Trump could steal billions from US taxpayers. An Israeli advocacy PAC bribes every legislator they can to support a policy of starving of children in Gaza. US needs a revolution.

Has Chuck Schumer made a public statement about GOP Senators who are willing to overlook Blanche's actions on Epstein investigation, willingness to kowtow to Trump's immunity for tax evasion charges, and slush fund for 1/6 criminals? You can't fight corruption w/ a corrupt, AIPAC backed Senator.

Any reasonable, ethical adult knows Blanche, a criminal co-conspirator of DJT, shouldn't be confirmed as AG. Yet almost all GOP Senators will vote for him. Is this just politics, or an exposure of the deep rot at the core of Christian hypocrisy in our society?

Trump will probably continue to lose MAGA support simply because he's rapidly aging. Age is stripping his ability to dance to the current tune. It'd be a mistake to think the small town Evangelicals and big city conservative Catholics have changed. They still think empathy is being against God.

Netanyahu meeting the US President at the WH is a foreign statement. "Any of the (other) 124 member states of the International Criminal Court (ICC), which issued a formal arrest warrant for him on November 21, 2024" would arrest him. Are Evangelicals and conservative Catholics proud?

The only thing Trump and his administration cares about now is avoiding public humiliation. The Gulf states, who have bribed him are telling him to back off, as Iran is hurting their monarchial boot kicking profits. Israel is still gung-ho, but even DJT has grown weary of their solipsistic bullying.

Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are excellent examples of why the Democratic Party has floundered when fighting embedded wealth. Pelosi took health insurance money to fight UHC, and Schumer takes AIPAC money to ensure the party is aligned w/ Israel. DNCC hands are too dirty to fight GOP corruption.

From NYT: "One senior U.S. official, who also spoke on the condition of anonymity, expressed doubts that resuming major combat operations would drive Iran back to the bargaining table." Oh? Two Jewish real estate billionaires who each gave millions to AIPAC couldn't convince Iran to deal?

Susan Collins has a huge financial advantage over Troy Jackson in a state w/ a population one third the size of Atlanta metro. Money won't determine the winner in Maine, it will be Democrats ability to show Collins to be a 73 yo spoiled rich girl who's spent a lifetime shilling for embedded wealth.
