Bell ruled out common causes for quantum correlations. Years ago, we ruled out all falsifiable direct cause models. Some months ago, I decided to look again into that and improve those criteria. It's done, with great collaborators and AI used as a tool and not a coworker :-) arxiv.org/abs/2608.05271

Cluster-State Witnesses of Finite-Speed Hidden Influences

Bell experiments rule out local common-cause explanations of quantum correlations, yet they do not exclude hidden influences that travel faster than light while still having a finite speed in a prefer...

Every civilization have martial heroes, people with highly sophisticated skills developed for war. Then firearms came, which any idiot can use, and became the tool for the task. Martial arts remain as prowess for sports or cultural shows. Are mathematicians the next samurais?

Reinhard Werner giving a talk about von Neumann and quantum, competent and clear as usual. On this slide, the deep origin of why quantum information people don't like most quantum textbooks. It's about the representation of measurements: vN's axioms ended up missing POVMs.
