So Doom is coming to the Evercade after all...I'm curious if there is anything special packaged with it, or possibly a console edition on the horizon.
While streaming, @valkiriforce.bsky.social recalled the time he played Super C in Nesticle (the first NES emulator), and how the sound effects were... rather crazy. I had to hear it for myself, so I tracked down a copy of the emulator and ran it in DosBox. The results were... well, just listen! 😂
Fun fact: the old working title for Anomaly Report was The Avenue, and it was originally conceived as a limit-removing project, but I ended up contributing to a friend's project at the time (Curse of Blood) which was Boom-compatible.
I'll give Classiq one thing - they have a cool aesthetic.
