an attempt to dig my way out of my #gamedev rut by modelling a tractor. I spent hours working through tedious problems that were probably my fault to begin with, maybe I can use the tractor to tow myself out of the rut now, but it looks kinda neat now I think

a low poly model of a red tractor with orange accents in a field of grass

I fucked up, after signing up my new energy company was like "hey do you want to get solar, we can help". Sure thinking maybe they had a few trusted known installers I have 30 missed calls, they dropped my number into the shark infested waters of hungry pushy solar panel salespersons

i drove into town cause I wanted hot donuts at 8pm but nooo I had the wrong day for when the donut truck was open and then went to the actual donut shop but they were out of donuts is very tragic. I got a hot dog instead

Today was the 3rd monthly meetup for the local #gamedev group I started, its been a lot of fun Being not in the city I didn't know if there was any interest but there's been a great turnout of people who are all passionate about game making, sharing our projects, stories and helping each other.

I went to a weird little store in a town halfway to the middle of nowhere and found this weird little handmade embroidered patch I have a pair of jeans with a hole in them, this will be perfect

A photo of an embroidered iron on patch in its packaging. The patch is a medieval style detection of a silver and blue knight riding a black horse. The knights helmet is in the shape of a rabbit's head

I didn't think I would like Marathon at all because I have not really liked extraction shooters in the past but I accidentally 10hours of it in server slam. It has the good shooty feeling

I get it now: Marathon satisfies, at 20 minute intervals, my masculine urge to bleed out [here] [here] is a dreamlike and baleful alien vista contaminated, but not yet mutilated by utterly overmatched human brute force

Sure sure sure I could be doing the gamedev tasks I set out to do today but after writing a whole 2 lines of code I deserve a little treat of playing games for 4 hours

I continue to despise the use of Discord as a support platform. If it's open source, unpaid or a mod or something sure ok fine but I won't like it. If you're a company using discord as a primary support platform then you aren't a real company you are larping, even worse if it's a physical product
