I’m crying tears of joy. I really hope that I will be able to sit and read a book again one day, as I had that hobby ripped away from me when all this started last year… Sent me into a huge depression.

Some positive news: I got an official diagnosis from my neurologist, I have something called “aphasia”. I have been referred for speech and language therapy! 🥳😭 this is excellent news because I have been asked to appear on podcasts and have always had to turn it down etc. Feel like a way forward.

Thank Christ I’m seeing Harry Styles on Friday, because I really need that jolt of happiness right now. To hear some live music and have a dance. Music has been one of the main things getting me through life lately.

Today am really feeling the pinch of how much my brain injury affects my communication skills, I’m getting there, but I still really struggle with speaking. I couldn’t speak properly throughout pretty much my whole childhood bc autism, and it’s horrible to think how much I have regressed.
