I'm a Sculptor of Things, Serial Doodler & Coffee Assassin | She/Her https://linktr.ee/vanessa_ramirez

Me: *sculpting very cute shit* Also Me: *rewatching punisher while i sculpt* I’ll post pictures of the handful of dcon things i have left tomorrow and post drop details. I was just very excited to get some ideas going post dcon.

As my shoulder heals let me introduce Anxiesheep. I know enamel pins aren’t all the rage anymore but I do love making them. I 3d sculpted this character based of a sketch I did a few years ago and until I finish that side quest Anxiesheep will be an enamel pin and will be at DCon Pasadena in June.

I am having to sleep like a baby with blankets or pillows as bumpers so I don’t roll onto my shoulder and lock it up completely 🤣 nothing stressful about a locked shoulder as I prepare for Dcon Pasadena at all.

When I was at the convention it was interesting because my explanation about selling original pieces is different but the same from 2019. In those about six years since I’ve done a con I went from explaining that they were not resin to now that I hand sculpted these they are not 3d sculpted lol.

I hit flow state the other day in a way I haven’t in a very very very long time lol that was wild. I didn’t think I could lock in like that anymore but here we are. Week of the convention and life decided to make it not easy the last Month or so I’m hoping I have a bit more of that dog in me.

Soooo things have been crazy in my neck of the woods buuuut I will be at Collected Con next weekend. April 25-26 I’m atA45 Artist table. It’s been a minute but thought I’d get back out there. Here’s a peek of my custom Beanz. Will have a surprise online drop Monday for people that can’t attend.

To channel my frustration and rage, I connect with my culture the way that I did when I was younger, through food. I wasn’t raised speaking Spanish or knowing much abou my culture, so food was always my one tether. My mom made us Mexican food including her own tortillas growing up.
