First road trip in the ND is to the beach. This car feels like a comfy grand tourer compared to my old Miat. Annoyingly the windshield is now toast thanks to the words biggest stone “chip” from a truck on the highway.
After a couple stressful weeks I have secured a new job. Time to relax and enjoy some Florida sun for the 4th.
As much as I want to upgrade the suspension and lower the ND, the stock (soft & tall) setup makes it ride good when cruising around in the city at night. Not needing to be worried about the bumps and cracks in the road is nice. I’m sure next time I go to mountains I’ll be wishing for coilovers. 😆

Of course I find a job that sounds like a great fit, good hours, good pay, and close to home. I have an interview that went really well, and then they go with someone else for the position. On to the next one I guess. :/

Well today didn’t go as I expected, but hopefully that’ll be a good thing in the long run.
There is this guy I follow on IG, who chills on the side of the road in the mountains by me and takes pictures of cars. In all the times I’ve gone up there I’ve only been photographed once in the NB, so it was really cool to finally get some pics of the ND. Looks like a brochure pic! 🤩
I had some good mountain road therapy today along with a nice night cruise in the city. Not a bad Saturday in the Myachta.

Finally went back to the mountains yesterday now I have new tires, and it was great, BUT every time I go I want to upgrade the suspension and brakes after. I’m trying not to rush into that especially with expensive vacations coming up, but man I want it. Maybe in the fall. 🤔

I want to go drive in the mountains this weekend but it’s supposed to be rainy the whole time. Maybe I’ll still go just to get out and enjoy some quiet roads even if they’re wet. 🤔

There’s a particular Dalmatian mascot model from a company I like that I’ve wanted for a very long time, but I’ve never been able to find a used one to buy. A few months ago I decided to commission a brand new one for myself and it finally arrived today. He is so cute, so soft, and fits so well!!

First day back at work after a week off. Everything in my department is now a heat case because nobody filled in for me (I trained a fill in last week). Fantastic! 🥲 I was still smiling and cracking jokes with coworkers. Seeing their laughing eases the pain of my crazy mountain of things to unfuck.
