#TravellerRPG vs D&D: Cleon City sitting on the Desert of Desolation Hex map. It becomes obvious that I have used three different city generator techniques and have not yet merged them - and this is only a tiny fraction of the canonical Cleon City.

Moving around #TravellerRPG 's Palace of Arbellatra's Grand Promenade (in my version, open to the sky) at walking speed (1.4 m/s) to get a sense of scale. Night, with flashlight. Slightly updated surface shader for the palace, and city extended further out to the horizon.

#TravellerRPG 's palace of Arbellatra interior. DGP Digest 9 has hanging gardens and a >250 meter tree in the interior core of the spherical palace. So, what better use for the vine generator than to see if they can make for at least stand-in hanging gardens.

And another early morning at Arbellatra's Palace #TravellerRPG - I'd been attempting to reproduce the time of day and pose from Mongoose's page 153 image from the Third Imperium sourcebook, but the layout implied by their image does not match DGP geometry or layout

Core Sector, World of Capital, Cleon City, Imperial Park - on the walkway to the east of the reflecting pool, looking south toward the Moot Spire. Early evening. Deneb is visible to the right (west) of the Spire, vmag -3.1, and the star just to the left (east) is Shaaram, vmag -1.8. #TravellerRPG

#TravellerRPG preflight: whittling on two things, the simulated dark-adapt/light-adapt rate of the human eye and poking at what might be a SHaRC bug or some kind of quantization bug (you see the square light response areas on the ground). I still think I've got an error in how I'm using MetalFX.

I imagine the upscale Broadswords have a Carbon Fiber wrap to look cool. This is with Capital's canon atmosphere (Dense, world size 6 - which affects scale height) #TravellerRPG

#TravellerRPG Capital Remix: Capital in the place of Pandora (gas giant primary, triple star system, Capital->GG->Alpha Centauri A hierarchy). Also feeling out tomb placement. (Cleon City, Imperial Park)

#TravellerRPG - you'll have to forgive the low frame rate, this is debugging. Much of the code had still assumed a single sun in the illumination model. I've updated it. Unfortunately BSKY has trouble with HDR, so this is tone mapped SDR (Khronos PBR neutral) and by eye EV adjustments - binary star

School and Flashlights: Clearing out room for Karbiili (and/or University of Sylea) - GURPS canonical items The bright stars overhead are the bright giants past the spinward marches. Pretty sure not canonical, though on travellermap. Probably removable.

#TravellerRPG visualization project: equipment add for flashlights (travellers need flashlights). Cleon City with Jeddah Tower (at 1km tall) as a stand-in for a sci-fi skyscraper. The frame rate is only about 8 fps, some of that ghosting that you see is Compressor, some of it is me

Calibration shot, #TravellerRPG 's Capital placed at Earth's location. Looking in the direction of Orion. (the overly brilliant object in the left of the scene is Sirius, I think I overboost bright stars)

While I'm busy filing the serial numbers off for my more legitimately own take on #TravellerRPG capital world, Capital, I have a bunch of engine things to do: performance is getting bad. Making the skyline a bit more varied. Better season transitions.
