Hilarious story from Saturday's wedding: we were waiting for the reception, and someone said that if they had a wedding, they'd play "The Rains of Castermere" to freak everyone out. So when the wedding party slammed all the doors and the Rains started playing, I about fell off my stool laughing.
Life in your 40s: I had *such* a good time yesterday. I need 24-72 hours to recover.
The wedding I'm going to today is fantasy/art nuveau/whimsy themed, so I set a reminder on my Alexa to bring the swords I need to bring. She asked me if I was going to a costume party or a historical reenactment. :D
