Recently hit a wall and am feeling major burnout with art. I'm experimenting to try and get some of that joy back. I drew Clarice from my #webtoon comic #AsphodelMeadows for the first time in a long time while testing out a new sketchy brush. (Also testing if freckles look good.)

Lip sync test for my submission for @judgmentalcritter.bsky.social animation challenge. Thank goodness the rest of the lines are thoughts so I don't have to sync the entire thing. Next comes the actual writing animation. The great voice work is done by @allysonjbva.bsky.social
Progress is not as far along as I would like, but here is an example of the vibe & layout for my submission for @judgmentalcritter.bsky.social upcoming animation challenge. Once the rig assets are fully done, the actual animation process should be relatively smooth.

I was in the work break room. LOUD CRASH. It was thunder. The lights in the various rooms here are flickering. It was cool. (I did record a video, but I realized that "video of flashing lights" probably wouldn't be good to share.)
