"Women make the force stronger, not weaker." For decades, women have met & exceeded the standard, and proven their place on the battlefield. We applaud Sen. Hirono and Sen. Duckworth for leading the charge to codify women’s right to serve in combat and strengthen our forces. 🇺🇸

Nearly 3 million acres of Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments just lost their protections. Marine Corps veteran & Vet Voice Foundation CEO Janessa Goldbeck cuts through the political spin on what this rollback actually means, and how veterans are organizing to fight back.

Today, we cosigned a letter urging Gov. Whitmer to withdraw the Michigan National Guard from DC. Using military force to police civilians is "unprecedented, dangerous, and unlawful." Gov. Whitmer has the authority to bring the Guard home, and we urge her to use it. vvfnd.org/press-releas...

Nearly 1/3 of Americans voted by mail in 2024, including millions of veterans and service members. We proudly intervened to protect their ballots. As our CEO @jgoldbeck stated, our democracy is strongest when every eligible voter has a fair opportunity to participate.

HUGE WIN: SCOTUS just upheld mail ballot grace periods in a 5-4 ruling! This is a major victory for the millions of military, veteran, and overseas voters who rely on mail-in ballots. We fought to ensure those serving our country don't lose their voice due to mail delays.

A SCOTUS ruling cuts mail ballot grace periods, meaning overseas military members might not get their votes counted. This is unacceptable, and we intervened in the case. They risk everything to defend our democracy. The very least we can do is ensure their voices are heard.

The sweeping ban on DEI and cultural events is actively minimizing the service of military women. A 28th annual wreath-laying ceremony honoring female troops was forced to cancel after the Air Force cited Pentagon and Trump administration mandates to pull out. Shameful.

Marine combat veteran Nick Borrelli has a powerful message about the endless cycle of global oil conflicts and spiking prices. We keep fighting for oil, and now the government wants to drill into America's Arctic to keep the wheel turning. Nick says it's time to break the cycle.

Steve Pearce is now the confirmed head of the BLM. Congress ignored the warnings from veterans about the danger he poses to our public lands. The fight continues and we stand ready to deploy people and resources instantly in defense of our public lands.

President Trump and Sen. Mike Lee’s nominee for the BLM, Steve Pearce, wants to sell off our lands to the highest bidders. Don’t let them take what belongs to all of us. 📞 Call your Senator and tell them to oppose “Selloff Steve” Pearce!

This Mother's Day, Vickie Castro remembers. The lies. The rush to war. The day before her son, Cpl. Jonathan Castro was killed in Iraq. Now she sees it happening again. The same lies. The same rush. A new war. Her message to every mother of a service member: your child does not have to be next.

Our public lands are not for sale! Sen. Bennet and colleagues just introduced the Public Lands Integrity Act to permanently block the sale of federal lands through fast-tracked budget reconciliation bills. Public lands belong in public hands.

At our Veterans for the Desert roundtable last week, Vet Voice CEO Janessa Goldbeck moderated a panel discussion on the importance of public lands to veterans. As Marine Corps vet Barry Scanlan said, “It really is a patriotic issue. As veterans, we just want to protect the land.”
