BURNING GROTZILLA! Done! been scribbling and layered up overlapping loops and lines to create his craggy texture and make the form shadows. I'm trying not to overwork it everywhere as I'm enjoying the contrast between those intense areas & the loose lighter lines on the other parts. #art #godzilla

GTA5 plotting is done finally! total damage is like ~600 route PNGs for all the games mission by mission to animate in a video with the flowcharts. it will either be an interesting little GTA overview or the longest most boring video ever. san andreas for comparison. not touching GTA online
Max (VGCartography)@vgcartography.bsky.social · 2mo agoGTA4 done. pretty good map coverage really. the DLCs add 22 and 25 missions roughly, but GTA5 is looming so i probably don't have the will to cover them (or the Stories games) - it is tempting because they intersect with the main story here and there. the original story barely touches the airport

working on some mission infographics for GTA series discussion video. categorized each one by emphasis (big shootouts? lowly thuggery? driving someone around? applying driving skills for other goals?) and overall the games are fairly balanced. kinda falls apart w/ newer ones as missions get complex.
sometimes i make the intro bit of a video really early, to motivate and amuse myself. (they often get copyright struck) in this case I didn't quite get there. but here was my extremely niche LIES OF P x WILD KRATTS remix intro that still makes me smile
LIES OF P - KRAT, as far as I got. abandoning this project for now. I told myself I was gonna focus on youtube this year and I've only managed 3 measly videos in 7 months and nothing meaningful in the works. need to focus somehow. if i post some WIPs where my fire's burned out, i can set them free.
TRIPLE TRIAD house rules i've come up with so far and some other details. having fun just playing against the computer so far, next step is i wanna add a ton of different cards with all the PS1 assets i have laying around.

bluesky can't handle a 1000x200 gif with 12 frames 😑 i've basically given up posting daily map images like i used to because the scaling makes them look unreadable even on smaller maps, but fortunately i keep discoving new ways of wasting time trying to share stuff
