I feel like I’m in a good place right now. I thought walking away from my job would send me absolutely nuclear with anxiety but the more time that passes, the more I realise creating human work with intention and consideration is a vital skill that will play a huge part in years to come.

Ey up mates. After 6 and a half years, I’m leaving GitLab. I’m terrified and excited. I think I’m gonna take a good little chunk of time off to recover from inevitable corporate burnout but I’m well excited to see what the new world order looks like when we all want lush human made drawings again 🤓

I’ve been playing loads with the Dynamic Pen Tool by Astute Graphics, and I'm loving the freedom it's bringing to the vector landscape. I’m just really enjoying my creative work right now. Feels good to follow the curiosity instead of overthinking the outcome.
