A4: I had a daily (quick) check in with my school social worker and my instructional coach. Also, I had a daily alarm set for 9:30 am. If I was sitting at my desk when it went off, I would get up and take a walk through the school. #LeadLAP

A3: We deleted having students meet criteria to attend school-wide celebrations for behavior. We shifted to celebrations being about our community and everyone was included. #LeadLAP

A2: A guiding coalition was my most important asset in leading. But when I had a short term project, goal, or need - I would ask people to join a “task force” for that project. For example, I had a task force take on lunch coach training when we got a new group of lunch coaches. #LeadLAP

A1: 1)Distributed Leadership - have a guiding coalition that meets regularly and leads with you. The job is not meant to do alone. 2) Instructional Rounds - derivative and grow practice together from the strengths of your people. #LeadLap #LeadWithRounds
