Father and husband working in IT to fund my collection of video games, books, and comics/manga. He/Him Always struggling to juggle career and hobby growth.

Played a little FF14 and chatted with friends. Watched Huesera, and now watching X-Men '97. All while sipping some old fashioneds. A good end to the work day.

Spidey was SO good, but Screen X doesn't do it for me. I don't think I'll be doing too many more movies in that kind of theater. I didn't dislike it, but the perepheral vision stuff was inconsistent for how my brain processed it. Just would rather spend extra on an imax or Dolby theater instead.

I've been going into the office all week and going out in the evening with some coworkers as we have visitors from the UK. That later part has been fun, but I am exhausted. I went to sleep at 8:30 yesterday and I still feel like I could use more sleep. 😅

Sports hot take time. Softball is a bullshit sport. It's fucking misogynistic. Let those women play baseball! There's no reason women have to pitch underhand and have a larger fucking ball.

Never did story B on RE2 Remake. Running it now and immediately do the most Resident Evil thing imaginable. Hit a safe room. Put away a key card eating an inventory slot. Leave, go down a flight of stairs, fuck. I need the key card. 🤣

Ironically this means Genshin and ZZZ are both not qualified, because (subjective here) they feel terrible on a phone for me. I could see myself returning to HSR one day though. I'm no longer interested in having games like this installed on my PC.

Ever since Genshin Impact introduced me to Gacha games, I've built a set of rules for mobile games over time. They are as follows: 1. Only one mobile game at a time. 2. The genre has to mechanically feel good on a phone. 3. It needs to be easy to play in short time periods. 4. No whaling.

I'm still not home, we should have been home almost two hours ago. The final leg of my vacation has been miserable and I'm just trying not to be a miserable human being to be around right now. 😭
