Was buying On shoes today. The site has an "AI mode.", but the search didn't search correctly. In general, love AI, but please don't forget about the basics when building products.

Engs love optimizing themselves with elaborate morning routines. But starting each day by being outside (ideally running) + quality time with your kids (if you have them) will give you more energy and mental clarity than any protocol.
Most of my emotional worries fall into two categories. 1) Things happening right now: daughter is sick, production is down. 2) Things that haven't happened and probably won't. (2) ruins my day far more. It pulls me out of the present with my family, my work. ....
1/7 Software engineering is changing fast. Not everywhere at once. Some orgs are already there. Others are years behind. Some engineers will come out ahead. Others won't. The ones who do well are practicing these things right now:
Approaching 40. - My eyes started getting tired. I had to switch from "More Space" to "Default" on my laptop. - My body stopped processing caffeine quickly enough. It's only ~800mg per day now. - I got even grumpier.
1/2 I have a curse. Every app, every feature I touch hits some weird edge case the moment I interact with it. Worked fine for weeks. I touch it → broken.
I'm still puzzled by how unstable Claude Code plugins are. There's basically a 50% chance some of them won't load. The fix is always a restart. How it fails to load a static folder of markdown files is beyond me.
When I talk to lawyers, doctors, manager,s their experience with AI is completely different from mine. Some use chatbots, but casually. Nobody is using agents at all. Three scenario of why this might be: ...
1/4 The GitHub CLI auth experience is frustrating. You can't keep gh authenticated because credentials are stored in plaintext.
Most AI-vs-dev debates are really just two people on different Amdahl curves arguing past each other.
1/7 I doubt Fortune 500s will vibe-code their own Jira. Every piece of software has tens of thousands of decisions baked in. Years of iterations. Reliability, security, edge cases. These things are hard to get right.
Go outside and experience the distance before your 8-hour session of arguing with Claude Code.
1/8 Lessons I keep reminding myself about using agents. Things that make me feel productive but actually make things worse. 🧵
Teach your agents monorepo skills so it can: 📍 Navigate the codebase efficiently using the project graph 👨💻 Scaffold new projects following existing patterns 🚀 Monitor CI runs and apply Nx self-healing fixes ...and more! Works with your favorite AI agent tool. (🔉 music on)
In 2026, Nx becomes essential for autonomous AI agent performance. 🤖 Local-to-CI Integration: bridge the boundary between your local agent and CI 🌐 Synthetic Monorepos: monorepo benefits for people with a polyrepo setup 🔍 Task Sandboxing: automatically detect misconfiguration 👀 ...and more!
1/ Every single thing I'm thinking about goes through Claude Desktop. Every message, every tweet, every design decision gets analyzed there. The cumulative effect is very powerful. Everything gets more relevant and precise.
As agent autonomy grows, so must its scope. Line → Block → File → Project → Whole Org The organizations that win will be the ones that remove the boundaries limiting agent autonomy.

1/7 A lot of folks moved to talking to their AI instead of typing. I've tried. I keep coming back to typing.
In the age of short content, I recorded a 50-minute deep dive into Nx. I cover how it works, what problems it solves, and how it amplifies AI. @nx.dev

What makes Nx different? 🤔 It's a build platform where the build system (not CI) owns performance. Nx Creator @victorsavkin.bsky.social just released the definitive explanation of how it's fundamentally different from every other tool:
🚨 ICYMI: Nx 22 is here, packed with amazing new features! Want a sneak peek? Sit back and let @juri.dev guide you through the highlights in his video overview. youtu.be/d8u07NXbwpA
AI made it easy to generate code. A LOT of it. And fast. But what happens next? Your PRs still sit waiting for CI, reruns, and reviews. Our CTO @victorsavkin.bsky.social shared his thoughts about it nx.dev/blog/pr-rev...
I strongly believe great UX is just as important as the core functionality behind it. The post is a good overview of all the UX changes to Nx’s Agentic Self-Healing. We have been working with many large teams trying to see what works well. @nx.dev
We've been working hard behind the scenes to fine-tune our Self-Healing CI. 💅 New redesigned GitHub integration and diff viewer ⚙️ Configure which tasks can be healed ✨ YOLO mode ⏪ Revert changes Read all about it in our latest article: nx.dev/blog/whats-...
Things move pretty fast around here, so we pulled our latest highlights into one article. 🤖 Configuring AI agents is easier than ever 🌌 Graph UI is completely revamped ⬆️ Support for Angular 20.3 and Vite 7 ...and much more! Nx 22 is coming soon, so it's a great time to make sure you're up-to-date!
Sometimes Nx's Self-Healing CI just fixes your failed builds. Other times it gives you a solid starting point, giving you the right context or helping you to seed a convo with an AI agent. We’ve been iterating on it. Here’s a quick video of where we’re at. @nx.dev
Sometimes our AI fixes nail it...well almost. Now you can apply these fixes locally in your editor, make that final tiny tweak and then commit it yourself. Curious? Check out @juri.dev's full walkthrough 👇 youtu.be/37q9O-PYPlY
AI agent configs are the wild west right now. So we added a command that sets it up for you. No need to upgrade Nx. Just run: npx nx@latest configure-ai-agent @nx.dev
We just introduced a new "configure-ai-agents" command in Nx 21.6.2 to ensure Nx operates optimally with AI agents. 👉 Configures the Nx MCP 👉 Sets up (and updates) rules for AI agents and IDE assistants Give it a try!
State of JS 2025 is live and also has a monorepo tools section. Make your voice count! survey.devographics.com/en-US/surve...
1/10 A thread on using AI agents well, mechanical sympathy, and why you should not become a manager.
Waiting for @biomejs.dev support in Nx? Why not do it yourself? ⏱️ 20 minutes ✅ Caching ✅ Inferred Tasks Looking to integrate a different tool? We'll show you how! 🚀
We completely reworked the @nx.dev graph visualization. It’s night and day compared to what we had before. 🎥 Watch the video below and provide feedback.
People love our visual project graph. However, in larger workspaces, the visualization was often unusable. That's about to change soon. @nartc.bsky.social from our team has dedicated some of his time to the graph viz👇 www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVo...
