big walk is quite good but I'm wondering if people have overlooked Normal People playing this game in terms of scheduling play. I don't think my pals and I are going to get a second session in until the weekend. depending on how long the game is, we might lose interest quickly!

yeah hold on i just need to accept plibly the friendly ai transcriber into the meeting yeah i just need to let wulrussy on the call yeah i think firefactory is on the line one sec

my favourite thing about yugioh genesys format is how you have a choice between playing a good engine and bad non-engine, or a bad engine and good non-engine, except you actually don't have a choice at all because all the non-engine is pointed to high heaven anyway, so you have to play a good engine

the reason why nobody has made an into the breach inspo'ed game is that, whenever you try to open up into the breach for research, you end up playing into the breach.

to the extent that there is a "male loneliness epidemic" it can be put down to the failure of men to play the co-op campaign of splinter cell conviction together, and to a lesser extent the failure of ubisoft to properly support that product

not sure how it's even remotely possible to get upset about the Emily Wilson review, do you think liking stuff is like a zero sum game? do you think that liking stuff is a test of one's spirit? what are we doin here

watched the odyssey and everything now takes no time at all. a meal is now 39 seconds. my daily commute is a couple of minutes. when i close my eyes i see distant visions of a cyclops in a cave.

I thought this was a pretty interesting take from Codeberg's announcement of their anti-LLM policy They argue that many developers using LLMs are essentially heaven-banning themselves where they don't realize they're developing for a nonexistent community

# The development team of none

Using LLMs to work with your code gives you a kick of adrenaline. You can develop at a rapid pace, build things as if you had a large team. Only that you have none. In fact, you are (often) alone, working with a statistical machine that turns energy into code.

It seems like many ‘vibe coders’ don't realize that they don't actually have a community around them. They build projects as if they had, and spend resources accordingly. We see projects having a lot of code activity, heavy CI/CD testing, frequent and large release binaries. Sometimes, it feels like the amount of supported platforms exceeds the amount of actual users.

To us, it seems ridiculous to see projects with a single developer and virtually no users consuming as much or even more resources than some of the largest community projects on Codeberg, which operate frugal with CI/CD and storage resources. We do not believe it is reasonable for Codeberg to invest our precious donation money into hosting of large ghost projects.

so apparently I don't have much interest in doing the GMTK jam so i've decided my main goal is going to be to do the art - something that i am so bad at it's unbelievable lmao
