I will forever love VC for letting me have units with actual FLAWS to deal with - it added so much personality to the squad members who otherwise just be random mooks, and was a cool way to get players to make their own uniquely preferred teams. More games need to give me flawed characters.

My theory on the success of the RE movie as a game adaptation: this is what happens when you hire people that actually played the games get to make the movies ...because all the people that played the games as kids/teens are now old enough to make movies as their chosen profession.
Glad to see that #Wardogs is introducing a whole new generation to the wartime helicopter pilot experience.
It's really nice of them to go out of their way like this.

The V2 game of the month - B Side is #Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana! I'll be playing through it over the course of September and giving my thoughts and reactions here.
#2OoT Link design thoughts: It feels like Twilight Princess Link's reveal all over again. After the backlash to Windwaker's design, Nintendy went more realistic for TP and SS, right? BotW stepped back from that (thank goodness), but since they couldn't do that style a 3rd time... here we are.
An interesting question from an acquaintance to consider (and then to submit your answer to via the google form!). But what would I say for a life changing/eye opening 6/10....? Drakengard 3? The original Metal Gear Solid 2? Hm.

I'm late to start it, but September's V2 #GameOfTheMonth side A is #AmericanMcGee's #Alice. I'll be playing the game throughout the month to see what I think and how I feel, and updating this thread accordingly.
This reminds me: it's about time to think of a Game of the Month for September. I didn't get to spend much time with Xenosaga (which is a shame) but I'm glad I got to spend so much time with Daikatana - 15 hours and counting. Even patched, the game is flawed, but I'm still having fun.

Honestly, if you an avoid it, you should never use or visit LinkedIn to begin with. The entire website and its culture are a blight. But if you can't avoid it, you should engage with it as little as possible.

I was interested in it, too, but seriously, just do the damn work - they're fucking PAINTINGS; what could AI "refinement" possibly help? And grammar corrections? Do a spell check - or better yet? Open it up to your community; ask for help, take their input, and use it to build the community more.

Now a report suggests 1st party/AAA was steamrolled too. Sony screws the industry, and doesn't even give its own folks time to brace.
New month means new Game of the Month - this time around, it'll be Star Fox Assault! The kinda-sorta sequel to Star Fox Adventures that Nintendo probably ALSO doesn't want to remember. Hooray!
