Headed up to the Charterhouse on Wednesday for the Governor's Garden Party - a chance for staff, residents and volunteers to get together over some lovely food! A great evening (only slightly saddened by the football) - AND I got to pick up a copy of the brother's magazine which holds a piece by me!

the charterhouse is so pretty in the nice weather!! can't wait to be back next week
The London Charterhouse. Former Carthusian Monastery turned into a Tudor mansion then an almshouse.
had the best time at my first @imc-leeds.bsky.social! from talks to receptions and even at the disco, I was having amazing conversations and making connections which really, is what it's all about. so sad that we can't just talk about medieval history all day everyday anymore - bring on next year!
the highlight of day 2 at @imc-leeds.bsky.social was presenting my work at the Carthusian panel. It was such a friendly experience and gave me lots to think about as my research moves forward!! thanks so much to @cartusiana.bsky.social and Stephen Molvarec for inviting me to speak.
first day at @imc-leeds.bsky.social learning to wield longswords = a great start and we are ready for battle (the rest of the conference)
really looking forward to @imc-leeds.bsky.social next week, where I will be chatting about the experiences of women in the Carthusian community at the London Charterhouse. Come and say hi if you are around on the Monday!! #IMC2026
