Just finished reading Blood Slaves and what a god damn thrilling blood fest it was. @markusredmond.bsky.social created such a cool & original vampyre tale. It got super uncomfortable at times, which was the intent; but I loved every minute of it and I can not wait until I can get the sequel now.
I just heard about Tom Hardy's rap album and why is it so good!? He's already one of my favorite modern actors but now he's keeping up flow with people like Method Man and Busta Rhymes? Tf!?
I can't seem to put this book down. Any time I've had to do anything else, all I can think about is getting back to it. If you're at all into vampires, historical horror, alt history, stories about slaves, and / or black authors: then I highly recommend Blood Slaves by Markus Redmond.

Shit. My cat Franklin just aggressively puked up a lot and made a weird noise when Liz went to grab him. Do I wait and observe how he acts for the rest of the night? Or do I find an ER to bring him too? I don't think there's one around me. I'm praying he just ate / drank too much. It is hot here.
