Finally feel like a human after 2ish months of packing, moving last week, and unpacking/setting stuff up afterwards. That was grueling but we are on the other side of it thankfully. My new place is nice and I am hoping to find more stability here. The neighborhood is nice too, lots of good food.

Idk if I ever talked about this, but most of my time in the leather community was just immersing myself in the experience to understand it and learn from others. These days, I am more towards asexual than not, but I do value my experiences and the connections I made (for the most part) from then.

it’s really funny to me when Christians cite like Leviticus as justification for being anti-gay w/e because it’s like, the whole reason Jesus came is to make a new covenant between God and humanity so that those laws aren’t binding anymore. That’s literally Jesus’ whole thing, how’d you miss that???

I think a lot about when Steve Wozniak took the Apple 1 to his job at HP, because they had first claim to any inventions their employees made, and the exec there was like “What on earth would ordinary people want with computers?” He was kinda right lol, I mean look at how things turned out

I’m primarily a vegetarian but I eat meat when it’s free / all that is available / it’s a novel experience I’d miss out on, but there are a few meats that I will generally eat because of how much I like them: - prosciutto - skirt steak / carne asada - sausage gravy (esp with biscuits) - pork belly

Flashback to me helping start a vintage vinyl listening club in high school back when that wasn’t cool. I am arguing with the boys who only listen to Led Zeppelin and Metallica on repeat to let me play the John Lee Hooker, Miles Davis, Tracy Chapman, and Pete Seeger records I brought. I’m right.

I know that because of being in a alternative rock band people may think that I primarily listen to that but I was raised playing church music, blues, and jazz, and it’s where all of my formative experiences come from. Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger, and Grateful Dead were my main guys for quite a while too

I’m surprised people consider the B-52s to be primarily a new wave because to me they’re so obviously a psychobilly band a la The Cramps. Like there’s very little difference between the tone of those two bands imo and they’re both kinda remembered as meme bands despite both making very good music.

It’s Hayley’s birthday today!! 💕 They don’t like to use social media but I can telepathically transfer them any birthday wishes because we got an experimental C2C (clown-to-clown) neuralink-like device installed last week and there are only severe, but not fatal, side effects. So that’s pretty cool
