iOS 27 beta 4 now continuously displays these dialogs for different apps. 🧵1/7
Me: I really should do taxes today! Also me: Let's build pull to refresh indicator that looks like a film reel 🌝 #SwiftUI #BuildInPublic
It would be great if it would be possible to answer to screenshot feedback from TestFlight.
Welcome to CyneDyne 🎬 Join the TestFlight public beta: testflight.apple.com/join/O7RkpPES #BuildInPublic #iOS #TestFlight #Beta #SwiftUI #Movies #TVTime
Looking for a TV Time alternative? We built one! Actually we ARE building one, and it’s a lot more than just a TV Time replacement. And we decided this is the perfect time to give you early access. Check out our TestFlight, we’d love your feedback!
We built the movie app we always wanted 🎬 Curated movie picks, watch parties with voting, watchlists & more. Human-made by 3 movie nerds, not AI-generated. And you can import your data from TV Time! Join the iOS TestFlight: testflight.apple.com/join/O7R...
In times of agentic coding, it's funny that it now takes longer for a damn SwiftUI preview to finally finish loading and show up than building the actual screen.
In iOS 27 beta 3 it takes constant reminders for me so that Siri remembers implemented app schema intents. Me: “Create an event in X app” Siri: “Sorry I can’t do that in X app” Me: “Yes you can.” Siri: “I created an event in X app for you.”
Doing an indie app hacker day with these awesome guys at my place today 😄 And we accidentally picked the independence day for that 😆 So also happy 4th of July to those who celebrate it! @Sören Gade @bastian-advntrr.bsky.social
Is anyone else already developing intents for Siri AI? I can't get it to detect my requests reliably. It always works the first couple times, then I'm getting "Something went wrong" for no reason and then it's like my app is blocked and NO request works anymore until I try again after a longer break
Yesterday I found out that @mertbulan.com has recently launched the app that I wanted to build for over two years now but never found the time 😄 A simple routine app with iCloud Sharing for coordinating morning routines with my wife. I love it! Go check it out: apps.apple.com/de/app/chores-...

Icon Composer 2.0 is honestly the funnest thing ever. Playing with refraction, blend modes, transparency and blur on the different layers creates endless possibilities, and it all looks so cool 😍
Wellll, in northern Germany it's 39 °C today (102 °F) and while I'm sitting in sunshine, 35km away from me (22 miles) it's hailing.
Why do so many pure SwiftUI apps feel so glitchy and slow? Is it really the framework or is possible to have a super performant pure SwiftUI app and just too many "holding it wrong"? Our phones are faster than ever, modern iOS apps should feel better than ever, not slower!
Now that they discontinued support for my Apple Watch Ultra relatively early, I must say I don't feel any excitement about getting a new one. I've bought it hoping a top tier device will get at least 5-6 years of support, maybe even 7. (Yes, maybe I was being naive).
Built a custom segmented control in #SwiftUI today because the system one wasn't customizable enough and the glass effect was too much / too playful for our use case. Pretty happy with the outcome. Though it would be cool if this wouldn't be necessary in the first place 😌
God, I really can't stand the old Siri anymore Now that I know there's a better alternative but I can't use it, it makes me all the more annoyed to have to use the old Siri. Not to mention how much I'd love to try out the new APIs. And I don't even know when or if I can look forward to use it.
The iOS 27 app resizing is probably also a SLIGHT hint towards what kind of screens we might get on iOS devices soon… 📂
The agentic UI testing in Xcode 27 looks reaaaally promising and is something I was desperately waiting for 😍
I actually liked Liquid Glass in iOS 26. But I'm really digging the iOS 27 look!

Really looking forward to all the small improvements coming to iOS 27 though, can't wait to try it out!
Also, I absolutely did not expect Apple to drop support for the Apple Watch Ultra 1 😵 Like why?! It was the most expensive Apple Watch at that time, it's only 4 years old and I did not get a new one because it's still running BUTTERY smooth and I still have over 70% battery at the end of the day.
Just learned there won't be Siri AI in the EU anytime soon. Deeply disappointing. www.apple.com/newsroom/2026/0...
Due to DMA, Siri AI delayed in EU for iOS 27 and iPadOS 27
Due to the Digital Markets Act, Apple will not be able to ship Siri AI in the European Union with the release of iOS 27 and iPadOS 27.
