This evening's bike ride was very hot. We are in a heat wave, daytime temperatures at 31°. When I started out at 7:20, it was still 29°. Did not stop for a break as it was already getting late. Got home at 8:50, 5 minutes after sunset. Did stretches at home. #cycling

Took out the bike for the 1st time since last Wednesday. Cleaned up & lubed up chain. I felt a bit rusty, but I was very happy to be back on the road. It was a bit windy, I had to crouch down to reduce the cross wind. Met up with 1 runner, waved hello. #cycling

This morning's run was an 11km circuit in Kouchibouguac National Park from the campground to Callenders Beach via the road & back to the campground via the cycling trail. All went well, except for a few mosquito heavy areas. Met up with 1 runner & many cyclists. Waved hello to all. #running

Glad I went on a run right after work. The rain had let up. The trails themselves were fine. The park was mostly empty, so had most of it to myself. The only negative was that the air was very humid, so a bit tiresome. During the evening, rain started up again. #running

Did a shorter bike ride this evening. Everything went well, except at the end when a bunch of arrogant convoy motorcyclists purposely revved their engines right next to me, knowing that it would be extremely loud & that my ears would ring. F*** them up the @$$ with no lubricant. #cycling

I had family obligations, so did my 31km ride as quickly as I could. I only stopped for a 2 minute break at the water spring. Did the entire thing in just under 90 minutes. For me, that was fast. Met up with 1 cyclist, waved hello. #cycling

This evening's bike ride was a good one. There was no wind, not even a breeze, so was able to get good speed in every direction. Saw 3 deer in Irishtown, stopped for a photo. Did not realize that I had started so late. The sun had set when I got home. #cycling

This morning's run was a bit hard. At 11AM, temperatures were already 25° & still warming. I stayed in shaded areas as much as I could, but some stretches were in sunlit areas. I was sweating a lot, but had fluids with me to help. A quick shower afterwards felt really good. #running

2 Great Blue Herons at Parlee Beach. I got the 1st one just as it had touched down, but still had its wings spread out. The 2nd one seem to think about landing, but thought otherwise & flew away. The 1st one then moved closer to us so took more photos. #bird #heron #photography

Went early this morning for a bike ride as temps were going to rapidly climb. All went well, except for a stretch where crews were patching asphalt, followed the road crew traffic stop. Saw 2 deer, but they ran away rapidly, no photo. #cycling

It was a short bike ride this morning in the Shediac trail system. Did about 13km. There was a cool wind chill. I wished I had worn my long sleeve vest. Stopped at the Pointe du Chêne wharf. Saw a lot of fisherman catching mackerel. Met up with a lot of cyclists & runners. #cycling

Did a late morning/early afternoon bike ride from Dieppe to Memramcook & back again. This ride is very satisfying at 44km, but also very hard. There are a lot of rolling hills. I have to downshift a lot, but my legs still get a good workout. Met up with 6 cyclists, waved hello. #cycling

The New Scoody-Doo Movies from 1972-1973. It's not that good. Every episodes is too long. While season 1 is kind of meh, season 2 is really boring. It's like the writers weren't into it at all. I did like some of the guest stars, but others were kind of baffling for a kids series.
