Just found out the all-white uni shit was not a joke, and now I'm mad online.

Ok, look, y'all were the ones that told UGA students to "take care of them bees."
Veterinary students at the University of Georgia learned to care for honeybees, which are vital pollinators for U.S. agriculture. Between 2024 and 2025 more than half of the managed colonies in the U.S. have been lost. nyti.ms/45Knh00
Might have fucked around and volunteered to be the coach for pup1's flag football team. Pray for mojo
lol, the UGA cutoff for Florida tickets was 15k points. The only game lower than that this season was Arkansas away tickets (10k cutoff). I guess charging $400 face value for tickets depressed demand somewhat. Who would've figured?
Happy Esther Day. Tell somebody you love that you love them today. I love y'all.

I've been thinking about this, and ngl I thought the USMNT looked incredible, aggressive, and a complete 180 in this World Cup. And they did, compared to previous USMNT iterations. But then I saw all the top-tier teams just doing the same thing but better in the later knockout rounds.
#USMNT manager Mauricio Pochettino has renewed his contract through 2030. @henrybushnell.bsky.social with the initial news story. More to come… www.nytimes.com/athletic/748...
8IG 18 SEASON PREVIEW IN CURT CIGNETTI'S MOST MIDWESTERN ORDER undeniably-midwestern-but-what-are-you-striving-for tier 11: Michigan (winning a national championship by cheating, and then having your next head coach arrested is giving SWC if we're all being completely honest)
THEY'RE GONE WOOOOOOOO ... ... Uh, I mean... that is... Poor kids, I know they're nervous about the first day at school, hope they do ok. ... WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Hmm, seems like I missed Hank Green being the main character. Or maybe he still is on some scale? Anyway, I think the long reply he wrote on reddit was thoughtful, nuanced, and reflective, which is pretty much what I'd expect. It didn't point fingers, and it didn't blame others.
Man, if you've got Carlos Cordeiro resigning in protest over your bad soccer shit... The same Carlos Cordeiro, mind you, who resigned in disgrace as head of US Soccer in 2020 because he signed off on a legal defense that the USWNT wasn't as good as the USMNT because of biology.
1. Florida 2. Auburn 3. Tech 4. Clemson 5. Again, Florida
Gimme your top 5 hated teams for your favorite sports. I am just going with NFL and MLB because its hard to write em all down. NFL 1. Rams 2. 9ers 3. Steelers 4. Packers 5. Broncos MLB 1. Astros 2. Yankees 3. Blue Jays 4. Rangers 5. Red Sox
5 minutes early to a meeting in Birmingham, one customer was also early. I strike up a random convo by asking about football. "I don't follow any sports now. Used to be a F1 fan until that fucker Vettel took all the fun out of wondering who was going to win." I did not have that on my bingo card.
When I was a volunteer at the '96 Olympics in Athens, I thought I was watching something that would never happen again in my lifetime (soccer in Sanford Stadium). Fortunately, I was wrong! UGA's playing a game there on 8/20. Tickets are now available and are free, but you gotta order them!

100 years ago my grandfather was 2 years old, and I already eat, sleep, poop, and cry all the time, sooooooooo
Enough “what would you do on the commune questions” If you got sent back 100 years and were given your grandparent’s job, what are you doing?
To be clear here, CONCACAF isn't calling anybody out on corruption. They're saying that FIFA fucked up by not cutting them in on the corruption.
Man you know you’re crazy when even CONCACAF calls you out Been told Canada Soccer will have their own statement soon btw www.concacaf.com/competitions...
Well, Temple is in the American conference, and nothing says "America" more than being sponsored by lawyers.
Temple has joined the jersey patch game, partnering with personal injury firm Grungo Law on a multi-year football deal. Grungo Law is the first law firm to appear on a D1 jersey, per the school.
I agree. So what are y'all doing to make it better? And what about the bottom of your conference? Are y'all doing anything to upgrade it from "FCS level" to merely "not hard?"
Big Ten commissioner Tony Petitti: “This idea that the middle of our conference isn’t hard just isn’t right.”
For straight-up eating, smoked gouda is tier 1. Also, any good aged cheddar. For burgers, you gotta go with two (2) slices of the fake-ass processed American cheese. The cheaper the better, just remove the plastic first. For fondue-type applications, I'm a traditionalist, emmentaler and gruyere.
People on Bluesky sigh and talk about The Discourse as if it were something required of them instead of something they opt to partake in, day in and day out. You really don't have to. Post about your favorite cheese
Well shit, what's the dang point, then?
Tennessee State President Dwyane Tucker indicated SEC game-day policies and the cost associated with sending the Aristocrat of Bands to Athens for the football team's game against Georgia factored into the decision. READ: hbcusports.com/2026/07/28/t...
Whew, this is a banner day. I've already blocked like 7 rando assholes today and haven't had to think about their ignorant drivel even once after their dumbass posts were out of my sight! Don't waste your energy on things that suck your life away, friends. Good times, good times.

what's everyone else's fab examples of once massively popular and influential landmark titles in especially western games from back in the day that have just been forgotten and abandoned completely now. mine is black and white
I wrote about 100 games that brought college football to its current state, from Grantland Rice's poetry, to offensive innovations, to postseason controversies, to all-time upsets, to television spectacles, to realignment, to the epic endings that keep us coming back. www.espn.com/college-foot...
100 games that explain college football in 2026
TV, realignment, stars and legends, postseason quarrels. Those themes have set up epic games and made the current sport.

Damn, just saw that Brian Doerksen died. In an industry filled with charlatans and con-men, he was one of the rare giants that always seemed authentic, and who kept the main thing the main thing. And I think it came across in his music. RIP, Brian Fuck cancer.
