To those confused at how it works, it's not your creatures you're giving the +1/+1 to. It's your opponent's. When Morcant blights 1 you get an elf from Defenses and this allows the Denizen to put a +1/+1 counter on the blighted creature so it can be blighted again and again. #magicthegathering

What I remember as a kid was "hardcore Star Wars fans" hating on the Phantom Menace when Episode 1 came out. It wasn't just about Jar Jar. I liked the new Star Wars and didn't know where the dislike came from. It's a weird phenomenon of established fanbase disliking new things about their fandom.
Here me out. A Magic: The Gathering set, where Teferi goes back in time again but messes things up and causes a butterfly effect. Something like Time Spiral, but in a cringy way. #magicthegathering #funny
Little known fact about Anakin is that he played mono blue and it was already obvious at that point that he's on the downward spiral to becoming a sith #magicthegathering #meme #funny
Coolest cards that are no longer in Standard? I'd go with Phoenix Chick. The perfectly balanced card with so much going on. Especially with all the drama around "too fast, too damaging" early cast red aggro cards, this little guy proved to be the fairest one mana haste creature despite flying. #mtg
That's a cool legendary creature you have there, it would suck if it went on vacation to Karakas. #magicthegathering #funny
This is peak casual commander, though. Todd simply can't lose with dignity. #magicthegathering #funny
Remember this Basri meme froma few years ago? Basri Ket is back and one of the protagonists in the story for the upcoming Magic: The Gathering set Aetherdrift. #magicthegathering
