Disc Rot? I run an online game/CD shop. More than 10,000 discs CD/DVD/LD/BD have passed through me. I test each one. I find scratched discs for sure. And moldy discs in cases that also have moldy manuals. But a pristine case with a “rotted” disc? Twice. 2 times in the 15 years I have sold games.

When I was a kid, we didn't have a ton of money. My brother and I wanted an NES soooooo bad. We made deal with our parents to combine all our birthday and Christmas presents for the year and we got an NES Action Set to share. We only had the pack in Mario/Duck Hunt. (1/3)

I already asked this question a few months back, but since I got such great responses and discovered a few new artists (who I now love) I will ask it again. "Who are your favorite Japanese artists?" Or just recommend me an album.

Got my Switch Virtual Boy …thing. Might make an unboxing video or something later. Still not 100% sure why I ordered this. I already have a Virtual Boy and most of the games on this service.
Final Fantasy IV comes to mind, but there were so many great games.

Family Karaoke day. This place doesn’t have They Might Be Giants songs 😭(the other place had 3). So my daughter and I settled on Journey.
I’m never sure what to do with things like this. This cartridge works. It has the game Pinball on it. But because it doesn’t have its label no one wants it. So I’ve just been holding on to it (and many others like it) I just can’t bring myself to throw it away. It feels almost sacrilegious to do so.
Yeah, I never throw that stuff away. I always include it. Those are treasures.

I love finding handwritten notes in games. Someone put more work into this virtual fighter move list than pretty much any project I’ve ever done in my life.

Decades ago I would often look at the expensive imported Squaresoft games for Super Famicom like Front Mission in the basement of Rathbone Place CEX but could never afford them, but now I finally have most of the ones I wanted.
