The Tigers are about to be 2 1/2 games out of a playoff spot. What the hell are we letting 12 teams into the playoffs for if a team is going to trade one of the best pitchers in baseball when it's 2 1/2 games out of a playoff spot? We already have the NBA for this garbage.
Not a baseball doomer, but I am a Mariners doomer and there is something so confirming about the Castillo/Skubal trades coming in back-to-back. Why did I ever expect different? One team is serious. Mine is not and maybe never has been.
This might be the most disappointing season in Mariners history, but at least the ownership got to unload an expensive contract. I'm sure they will reinvest this money accordingly.

The Bear is a good example of the people running the show liking a different show than I do. I don't care about Matty Mateson, his brothers, Brian Koppelman, or whether Jimmy makes his money back. I just liked the kitchen anxiety and dad rock needle drops.
If this year's American League teaches us anything it should be that parity in baseball sucks.
I've tried my best to let it go, but the Mariners need to fire Dan Wilson. The team clearly needs some sort of shakeup, and he is not capable of being the one to do it.
Great reporting, but everyone who knows even a little about the NBA knew exactly how the Doc hiring would play out. Giannis and every follower of the team could see it, and the front office/owners couldn't or wouldn't. What a waste these last few years were.
