First impressions of part 3 are that it's not particularly good

The cast is good overall and I'm looking forward to seeing Aaron Pierre's John Stewart in S2 and MoT, but this show is very much carried by Kyle Chandler as Hal Jordan.

Writing's been excellent but some of the stuff in the finale just doesn't land with me. Hoping season 2 gets a bit more budget to work with for the Lantern powers too.

VioletBlade@violetblade.bsky.social · 3w agoAce Combat 8: Wings of Theve Project ACES gets a normal dev cycle and they put out something incredible. The scale of missions has been bumped up from 7, and while not everything in the story hit for me, there were moments that got me. Really enjoyed having a full squad again too. Fantastic game.

Dietrich is next but un/fortunately Ace Combat 8 early access starts monday night so I'm losing 20-25 hours to that at least everything getting muted for a few more weeks
I kinda don't want to do part 2 three more times, but skipping it makes my Cai team pale in comparison to my Leda team in terms of levels. I also don't get the events in the Memories which I get but still
