Love my husband so much, we decided to go out to a nearby nature reserve that we’ve visited several times before. Nothing bad has happened at this location, but due to getting some negative news the past month my anxiety went “something is very wrong and he’s going to break it to me there.”
Had a rough night health wise. I was out in the back yard getting some fresh air after I woke up. Orianna came out from under her lilac bush (she’s under there 99% of the time she’s outside, supervised.)

It’s nearly midnight and I’m so wound up from the chaos that was today from a drainage back up, to buying new towels, to javexing the hell out of parts of our basement, re-organizing items and dealing with ANOTHER minor animal emergency. May god have mercy on whoever may cross me tomorrow.
I already miss you so much Lolers. You running over, demanding I pick you up within 1.1 seconds of walking into my parents’ place always me feel so loved. I joked about being suffocated by your kisses but they were sometimes the best parts of my day.

This week is no bueno Saturday - Dog 1 is very sick, goes to emergency vet, turns out it’s pancreatitis, Sunday - Cat 1 starts having tummy troubles, sore rear, I think it’s because she got into Dog 1’s new food and keep her downstairs for the day.
Cleaned up quickly, taking MIL to speak at an event. Then I’m fading out of existence for the rest of the evening. My eye bags have eye bags.
I will survive these two weeks of work because I don’t have a choice. Also hi depression induced insomnia.
