There is also "designing RPGs to publish your worldbuilding bible", "designing RPGs because you invented a neat dice trick", "designing RPGs to win an argument", and "designing RPGs as an act of self harm".

𝖒𝖚𝖑𝖑@mudnblood.bsky.social · 7mo agoReminder that Firearms existed in Medieval Europe before full plate armour. If you've got a medieval-fantasy setting that features plate armour, it is absolutely NOT immersion-breaking to include early firearms.

Qsy@qsy.bsky.social · 6d agoThe only reason firearms would look out of place in the type of fantasy I see is because the author, much like OP, doesn't know about their history and can't imagine making fantasy weapons out of them.
