Just wants to be helpful to people and got lucky to do it professionally. I’ll be posting about medicine, 3d printing and forensics. Also any nerd pop culture topic I find interesting. Hope you’re well. (All opinions are my own and not my employer’s.)
3D printing didn't just support this surgery. It made it possible. Thanks to the incredible collaboration between Nathanael Heckmann, MD, @summerin3d.bsky.social & @virtuallyjon.bsky.social, a patient who came to @keckmedicineusc.bsky.social to repair a previously failed hip surgery can walk again.
Dean’s POV 📸 Breaking news from 330 BCE: @summerin3d.bsky.social and @virtuallyjon.bsky.social with CIMV performed advanced 3D imaging to virtually "unwrap" the mummies and create 3D prints of their spines and artifacts for a new public exhibition @casciencecenter.bsky.social 🧪 #Science #MedSky
I am now side-eyeing 2026 and waiting for it to do something. For everyone out there, I hope this one treats you well.
"What if one of YOUR favorite politicians/celebrities/etc is on the list?" Did you all not notice how quickly we dropped Neil Gaiman when we found out about the things he did? Do you know how beloved that guy used to be and how loathed he is now? I think that right there should answer your question.

I really need everyone who I think is funny, kind and smart to stop doing those things. Another friend who exemplifies being a good and charming person just got diagnosed and it’s so fucking heartbreaking
