I did it! I made a lampshade! All by myself, no pattern! I took an old pillowcase and a bit of white sheet for lining,sewed it up and sewed it on the frame by hand. I love how it turned out. I’m so happy!!!

🎵 Hat pattern 🎵 hats at the store are too expensive , so of course I’m making my own.
Not leaving the house without a hat or a wig ever again. My hair is so thin that my head got sunburned waiting for our ride to and from the grocery store yesterday . I’m not used to this kind of pain and don’t want to feel it ever again. Any advice for my poor scalp?
Turning the junk / pantry room into a sewing room slowly as to not frighten the junk, you don’t want that stuff stampeding on you. Trust me.
I don’t like pants. I have only worn them because I was taught I had to. I really don’t want to wear them anymore. So I’m making skirts. I’m also researching past eras to learn what women wore in the winter.

Even with finished edges this fat quarter raveled in the wash. You would expect more from a #Disney branded product. Still going to try to make a top out of it. I’m just disappointed is all. 😞
I kept having very bad hand cramps trying to walk in #DreamlightValley you have to use control and W and that is quite the stretch for small hands. So last weekend I switched to an Xbox controller. It’s a lot less painful. I’m learning it pretty quickly I think.

I love it when my partner makes me biscuit flowers on a Sunday morning.
I cleared out my peaceful meadow today. I put Mickey and Friends up on a floating island while I cleared everything, they had been all squnched up and now they’re much more spread out I can even get all the way around their houses. Even Oswald is in the meadow now!
Had a never ending Walmart/K-mart dream. Couldn’t find my partner. 😞 so much walking.
I’m finally back to sewing! I had been reorganizing my sewing area ( which would have been a dining room-ish area in the 80’s when the apartment was built) I think this new layout will work well for me . I’m making a dress from raspberry print fabric with princess seams cause I hate darts.
