After seeing the reaction to Laufey I am convinced that most of the people posting online would not have survived MGS2.
I just platinumed Ghost of Yotei, and while it’s definitely great, I can’t help but feel something is missing. Maybe it’s too short? I had the blessing of playing Tshushima after Iki Island DLC was out and the multiplayer and that may be what’s affecting my reaction.
Got up early this morning to play Ghost of Yotei as soon as I could and I’m already blown away by the subtle improvements they made. For instance, you can seamlessly play your shamisen while walking around gathering items. Making the mundane just as engaging as the rest of the game.
Everyone please I promise you that no entity has ever cared about something less than Nintendo cares about “preexisting Donkey Kong lore”
People, I know you're super excited for launch but please please *please* have basic courtesy. Some people aren't able to play Switch 2 Welcome Tour at launch and want to go in blind. You should respect them. If you want to discuss the Switch 2's features and specs, give proper spoiler warnings
Just got the the credits of Clair Obscur, and there maybe recency bias, but it’s up there with the absolute best jrpgs I’ve ever played. The ending floored me.
Just starting Act 3 of Expedition 33 and it just keeps delivering the goods!
I made it a little past the Act 1 title screen, and really impressed by the combat in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. I’m embarrassed how many times Maelle killed me in the tutorial lol.
So I’ve never been huge into Mario Kart. I’ve always enjoyed it, but never enough to really stick with it. I didn’t even buy 8 Deluxe because felt I had played 8 on Wii U enough. But after watching the treehouse where they were playing World, damn it looks special!
Wow I’m so torn on the Nintendo Direct. There was a lot to get excited for. The new Donkey Kong game really looks phenomenal, the little bit of Metroid Prime 4 they showed looks amazing. However, the prices are a very tough pill to swallow. Not sure if it’s a day 1 purchase for me.
