And this is how I imagined the forest locations for FoxTail back in the distant year of 2015. Once again, it’s high-resolution pixel art, and this is all that's left from those times. I would really love to take a closer look at this art.

And this art is where it all began—it’s pixel art, but since I was just learning back then, the resolution is somehow massive, which made me realize I was doing something wrong. Unfortunately, the original file was not saved, only this low-quality jpg. It's a real shame.

And this is one of the early fully in-game scenes. The resolution is almost twice as high as it is in the game now, and Leah is also more detailed. As you might guess, this is the entrance to Grandma's yard from the beginning of the game. This scene has certainly changed quite a bit.

You won't believe it, but this is also an early piece of art from FoxTail. This image is such a big part of my childhood that looking at it takes me decades back to cozy memories and carefree times.

Once upon a time, FoxTail looked like this. It's hard to believe this is even pixel art. The first attempts were drawn in a 700x320 resolution. It wasn't even real pixel art back then, because I was just learning and figuring out the art style for the future game at the same time

Even the sketch locations for the upcoming chapters look like works of art.

Who is this mysterious stranger? Even I don't know (actually, I do). What is he doing here? Why is the floor so dirty? And why are we spying on him from the balcony? So many questions, so few answers.

Those flickering shards of colored glass enchanted me in my childhood and they do so now. I suppose I will never reach the age where such simple and beautiful things cease to be a source of inspiration.
