At beautiful Vindolanda near Hadrian's Wall this week working with the amazing team here and studying the precious writing tablets. The new museum display looks fabulous, and it is exciting to see our recent work on display. @vindolandatrust.bsky.social @uonclassarch.bsky.social
Some of the birthday invitations for Lepidina in ROMAN CURSIVE SCRIPT that the Ash Class at St Andrews made. 😍They picked Roman names too. They were not impressed, however, that she didn't know anything about football parties or ice-cream! @vindolandatrust.bsky.social @uonclassarch.bsky.social
