UPDATE: HAVE DONE THE ARCADION. I was mostly surprised by how much the blorbo hype was overinflated compared to the actual canon material! Like some of these characters barely exist but you wouldn't know it from their fandom treatment, which is fascinating!

DT is my least favorite expansion AND I'm not a huge fan of the Arcadion so hard mode for me is not actually that hard. That moment in the Skydeep Cenote progressing from second boss to third boss literally made me stop and gawk, however, and 95% of my DT fandom enjoyment came from Wachumeqimeqi!

I think my best summation of my feelings on DT is "overpromised and underdelivered" with a side of "breached the trust thermocline". I endured the 6.x patches praying DT would redeem the narrative decline, and it didn't. I do hope Evercold will be better! But they're going to have to earn it back.

i feel like there's a corollary to "you pull you tank" and it's "if you, the tank, insist on collecting up all the mobs but then move them four literal separate times because it's not really a wall pull until you've mashed yourself facefirst into the barrier, then you can DPS them until i get there"
