Brent crude oil prices are now officially trading above $100/barrel up +42% in 20 days. Inflation expectations and interest rates are rising sharply again. This may translate into US gas at the pump in the vicinity of $6/gal before the end of the summer.
I haven't fact-checked these numbers, but such a contrast between the parties.

WTF! What is wrong with the UK these days? The arbitrary imprisonment of 🇬🇧 citizen Jimmy Lai in Hong Kong highlights the dangers faced by HKer if forced to return. Strange 🇬🇧 has a difficult time getting rid of rapist and groomers but somehow a pro-democracy activist is on the next flight out. 😡

I hate to say this, but EU are hypocrites: Preventing asylum seekers from reaching the EU (by partnering with countries that disregard human rights) is not "fixing" immigration. It is just a hypocritical way to sidestep basic human rights.

Codex "cybersecurity guardrails" are insanely bad. Not only they do not allow to do very benign work (absolutely unrelated to security), they do nothing to prevent malicious actors to succeed, given those could just use Kimi or GLM.
I'm not really sure why people are talking only about packing the court, instead of enforcing the ethical rules for SCOTUS and disqualifying pretty openly corrupt judges.

A court this contemptuous of Congress deserves to be packed by Congress, not only to correct these disastrous precedents but also because Congress needs to show both Article II and Article III who’s boss.

California’s AB2047 is moving forward, and it’s about to change the future of 3D printing... everywhere. While it's being framed as a common-sense safety measure to stop "ghost guns," it creates a massive surveillance and privacy risk for every maker, engineer, and business owner. (Link in comment)
The painful correction for the mistakes seems to be slowly getting underway. Some realized there is no 100x gain. Some realized tokens are too expensive. Some started to short Oracle stocks. Even OpenAI engineers are coming out to say: "no, it doesn't actually replace human workers". And so on.
