23, Void Blob Trying to be a Pixel Artist or Writer, probably both. I am very lost.

New paper I'm taking is 100% ai nonsense. Apparently every time the ai contradictions itself it's actually a clever easter egg the professor added that teaches critical thinking. I want to scream.

I wish more stories had antagonists too stupid and self-absorbed to realize they're a villain. Most of the time I find the most harmful people aren't morally grey tragic monsters or amoral assholes but just idiots who don't realize they're doing wrong and get offended if you point it out.

It often gets to me how much mircotransactions won. We went from horse armour being a scandal to lootbox anime gambling being the basis of an entire genre. Outside of Europe very little legislation got through and for most part nobody cares that children have 100s of digital casinos to choose from.

The crusts resemble lichen, but are a variable mixed community of cynanobacteria, algae, lichen, bacteria, and/or fungi. See the network of filaments at the base? Those are how crusts--

A macro photo of a black, lumpy, mottled, lichen-like organism called a cryptobiotic soil crust. It looks kinda like a tiny black brain. The crust is on the desert floor. A close look reveals a network of micro-filaments at the base, which serve to bind the soil and absorb moisture.

They thought they hated him before but they now knew better. This thing inside them, churning their insides, burning with raw passion. It was the only motivation they knew, the only warmth they'd felt. It burnt, radiant in its divinity. This was hatred, anything before it unworthy of the title.

I feel like we need a single word that encapsulates the feeling of "just get divorced already". A simple set of syllables that signifies that what might have been there is long gone and the lingering husk pretending to be love needs to go with it. "A connection best ended." Any suggestions?

It still feels like 2024 to me, maybe I've just been so numb lately. I keep seeing the current date and just feeling disappointed in myself.
