a conspiracy theory I have is that current media (commercials primarily) have adopted an aesthetic to *look* like AI even if they are not in order to either (a) get us used to it or (b) make it less likely for us to be able to decipher what is AI and what isn’t.

aside from the fact that this is yet another example of a tone-deaf billionaire playing a victim, it’s also not simply that he personally cannot be trusted as a steward of CNN, but rather that it’s another example of damaging corporate media consolidation
