I know I probably just need to sit down and watch the jojo series somewhere, but I feel like I still don't understand what a "Stand" is exactly, like they seem to be superpowers given a personified form...except when they're not, and when they are actually autonomous being...

I've been looking for a way to effectively talk about my card game from a mechanical standpoint. It feels like it's easier to share what a card looks like rather than what it does and how that matters in the context of the game at large...

If I had one complaint about deltarune chapter 5, it would be that it does a thing Undertale does that I find a little annoying, where it's like: "Ha! I'm going to do violence to you!" *Attacks them* "NOO!!! Don't do violence to me! you big bully!!" "Hmph! now I don't want to hang out with you!"

Random Rant: You know, I kinda have beef with the whole "Be careful what you wish for" and other related narrative tropes, where a character is punished for having a desire fulfilled in some way. at some point it just communicates this idea that wanting stuff in any capacity is bad...

I'm here desperately waiting for my YouTuber of choice to post the latter half of their play through of deltarune chapter 5 before the internet gets flooded with spoilers, I'm already starting to see fan art and I'm desperately trying to avoid any of the spicier story reveals I haven't seen yet.

So I haven't been talking about my life situation much but things aren't going to great right now, my economic situation is looking pretty tense and there's a real chance I may end up going homeless again in a matter of weeks, I've been at the job hunt for months now with no success...

So in my card game, you're playing dodgeball and you win by landing 5 clean hits on the opponent, each one removes a card from their stamina line like a health bar. However, you have to get past 3 layers of defense first in order to secure the hit on the opponent...

Every now and again I think about how much I'd like to be able to make music somehow, weather by an instrument or through a daw or something, however I just don't believe I've got the means to do it. Part of it come from the belief that there is a large knowledge hurdle to get through first...

Had a sudden realization about the Legend of Zelda when watching some rom hack gameplay. Isn't it weird how bombs are like, a totally normal thing that people can buy in the universe? And it's not even something that gets glossed over either...

Was talking to a friend about the piece I recently reposted, and made mention of the fact I once drew an idea for a Floatzel/Lugia cross myself a few years ago, although it was more wide than tall. This was made during a period where I was in a strong lugia mood.

Had a mild spat with family that got me anxious about the future of AI video content. They were watching these time lapse construction videos that were obviously ai and I pointed them out over things appearing out of nowhere during the process...

so apparently over on twitter, someone pulled this social experiment where they took a crop of a Claude Monet painting and framed it as though he AI generated it and asked people why they saw it as inferior, and people scrutinized the painting heavily until he later revealed it was human made...

So here's some lost media for you guys, I recall an old pair of flash animations called "HEvil" one and two, and they were about a sentient helium tank that used to serve an important role in his household before being retired by new technology and seeks revenge for it...

So I've been thinking about the whole red button Blue button moral dilemma more and I realized that it actually correlates pretty well to some meaningful real life example, those being efforts to unionize or organize politically, let me elaborate...
