Ryuhiko (Raen Au Ra, he/him and she/her pronouns) wearing an indignant, angry expression, yelling back at someone (or something) that has accused him of being the same as him: monstrous, villainous, a being that plays with the natural order. He asks, "You think me the same?" in the first panel and comes closer in the second to ask, "You would dare?!"

Fear and realization settle over her expression in the top panel as she argues, "I am nowhere near the likes of you, I-I—", but her gaze grows vacant in the bottom panel as she looks downward and remembers something, a particular instance when she says, "—I do not tread upon the will of the living..."

He realized that he is lying.

Ryuhiko begins to panic and insists in the top panel, "You cannot think me the same, I am not—" as the bottom panel leads to a subtle distortion around him; colors begin bleeding around the edges as he says, "—I am no harbinger of Death, I cannot be—" ; it is becoming too much for him to handle alone.

The Multitude takes over. A trio of voices calls out from Ryuhiko’s mouth, "—Aa-ahh... Ahhh...—" three times over. He is not himself any longer; he is all of them, overwhelmed by his singularity. He retreats as usual.
