And every time you engage with this franchise, you signal to the industry that there's still money in it and they should keep pumping out content from full-cast audiobooks to book box partnerships.
a microcosm of everything. a mob surrounds a trans woman, accuses her of "attempting to enter a women's bathroom", beats up her and her nonbinary partner, then the state swoops in and dumps the trans woman in a men's prison illegally (a rape threat), and both are now at risk of longer jail time
