Excitedly awaiting the Welcome to Derry episode 2 to drop in a few hours. In the meantime, here’s a look back at some of my Pennywise concept art for IT Chapter 2.
I saw Black Phone 2 this weekend and loved it! The first one was pretty great and I thought the Grabber was instantly iconic. It hit all the nostalgia notes from the 80s. But BP2 is a whole other animal. It hits with a nightmare vibe that gets you in the gut and drags you across the ice.Go see it!
Just got back from MagicCon Atlanta. Being a part of an event like this always reminds me how cool it is to be in the Magic the Gathering community. The fans & players & the artists & organizers all make it very special. Thanks to everybody who stopped by and thanks for having me! #magicthegathering
Spooky season is upon us. 👻 The walk of the undead Empty hallow eyes Going nowhere Hungry crows cawing nearby The mark of flesh hunting Ensuing bodies cry The walk of the undead No one knows who next will die! #spooky #creepy #gothic #horrorpoetry #darkart #poetry #rhyme #horror #micropoetry
It’s been a minute since I’ve had new Magic art to share. Here’s four new cards for Omenpaths in Magic Arena: Rouse the Swarm & Kraza, the Swarm as One, Withar, Cocoon Keeper & Savage Mansion. These pieces were all produced as traditional art oil paintings. #magicthegathering
Painting Kroxa eating a dude who we may or may not know.
Wishing a happy birthday to the great Andy Muschietti and flashing back to some cool work we did together on IT Chapter Two. What a blast we had! Really looking forward to Welcome to Derry! I know you’ll knock it out of the park! All the best to you brother! Cheers! #welcometoderry #itchaptertwo
I’ll be at MagicCon Vegas this weekend. I’ll be doing signatures, selling art proofs, prints, sketches & taking a few commissions. Come on by! #magicthegathering #mcvegas #magicconvegas
Gleeful demolition. I had some fun doing a traditional paint on this Magic the Gathering card. After 15 years of doing Magic cards, this is my first one not painted digitally. 11x14 oil on board. #magicthegathering

I went to see The Monkey at my neighborhood theater. It is fun AF! “Everybody dies!” p.s. I worked with Osgood to design the monkey. 🙊 #themonkey

The monster/demon from Smile 2, designed by Alec Gillis. In my humble opinion, it is raw nightmare fuel. #Smile2 #Horror #HorrorMovies
Finally caught up with #Smile2 tonight & I continue to be in awe of Parker Finn’s talent as a storyteller, from both a script & a visual perspective. Naomi Scott was absolutely phenomenal too. Think I prefer the intimacy of the first’s finale but I love the implications of SMILE 2’s ending A LOT.
