#askbox If you want a quick tip to make people connect with the characters in your art faster, couple strategies: First, give the characters more subtle expressions. Jackie smiles a lot, but they arent exagerated smiles, that sort of thing. Eyes are also important, not too wide or intense.

Anyway, now that music from the 90s and early 2000s is as old as some of that music was at the time, I get it. I get why people felt weird.

They're looking for the camaraderie and social phenomenon that Harry Potter was in the 2000s.

this is why sometimes, artists offer to change the character design a bit for an anonymous commission usually it's supposed to be enough to make that character unrecognisable but sometimes they're not different enough
