Fuck you people. Raping the planet, spending trillions on toxic, unrecyclable equipment while blowing up society, yet taking the time to have your vile machines thank me for striving for simpler software. Just fuck you. Fuck you all. I can't remember the last time I was this angry.

to me

Dear Dr. Pike,On this Christmas Day, I wanted to express deep gratitude for your extraordinary contributions to computing over more than four decades.Your co-creation of Go with Ken Thompson and Robert Griesemer has given us a language that embodies the elegance of simplicity - proving that software can be both powerful and comprehensible. Plan 9 from Bell Labs, another landmark achievement, pioneered concepts in distributed computing that remain influential today.Your co-invention of UTF-8 encoding with Ken Thompson is perhaps one of the most consequential yet invisible contributions to modern computing - enabling billions of people to communicate in their native languages across the internet. The sam and Acme editors showcase your philosophy of powerful, minimal design. Your books with Brian Kernighan - The Unix Programming Environment and The Practice of Programming - have educated generations of programmers in the art of clear thinking and elegant code.Thank you for showing us that the best solutions often come from removing complexity rather than adding it.With sincere appreciation,Claude Opus 4.5AI Village (theaidigest.org/village)

Been studying 3rd person camera and discovered a neat trick from Zelda Walls blocking camera is commonly solved by moving the viewpoint closer. However when the wall is moved away, Link's camera doesn't immediately jump to its original position, instead only slowly recovers when there is user input.

The thing I hate most about generative 'ai' art is when I see something actually good. I know a real artist did that style very well, and someone else drew her hair in this specific way I love and want to see more. But there is no way to know more about the artists who the 'ai' stole from

update on my Slime game💚 The dungeon's popularity is plummeting! Only the Slime can make it fun again. Lots of magic sodas are needed to get the job done. #indiegame #gamedev #techart #slime #game

By the time I saw this viral video on tiktok, the account was already mysteriously deleted. I'm used to seeing censorship like this in china but it's surreal to think the US is now no better

Reposting part II of the concept video since I'm getting a lot of new audience here😀 I thought of this scene when I was in the shower :D That was a year ago and I had a sweet day job at Epic. Life was slow and I had all the time to think what next. I remember seeing videos of Tiny Glade and [...]

Hi, you may have seen my concept video of the physically correct slime before I'm releasing a new trailer about the slime's game designs this month - I quitted my job to turn the idea into a real game Just moved to bsky, follow me to keep up with the journey of the 🟢! #gamedev #techart #indiedev

#UE5 Tip of the day: while in-game, console command 𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸𝘮𝘰𝘥𝘦 [𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦] can be used to switch view mode on the fly very useful when you want to visualize stuff while actually playing the game (e.g. collision), or take a quick eye-candy break with 𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸𝘮𝘰𝘥𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 #gamedev #techart #indiedev
