My 14-year-old kiddo has been kicking my butt in Chess. The way this kid can visualize how everything moves about the board is crazy. “Mom, you could have moved here, here, here, here, or here.” “Mom, if you move that, my horse can take it. You need to pay attention.” Sigh. lol
Blah. I found out my favorite band is performing in Chicago in September, but it’s part of Riot Fest. I don’t feel like spending $119 per ticket when I only want to see one of the bands. Boo.

I started in a new coloring book last night. It’s been enjoyable!
@vriess.bsky.social surprised me with my own Easter Basket this morning. It means so much to me. Growing up, my grandma always made holidays feel really special. After she passed away when I was in my early ‘20s, the holidays often lacked that special feeling.
This was a lot of fun to color! I really enjoy the color-by-number concept. It’s fun and relaxing at the same time.
